St. Edmunds Newsletter – Apr 2026

apr-2026

I hope you enjoyed a restful and rejuvenating spring break and had time to reconnect as a family.

As we continue our Lenten journey, we are reminded that this is a season to grow in faith, kindness, and compassion. At school, students are reflecting on Jesus’ example of love and sacrifice. This journey becomes even more meaningful when it is lived both at school and at home. We encourage you to join us through prayer, acts of kindness, and conversations that deepen your child’s understanding of faith.

We warmly invite you to the Grade 5 re‑enactment of the Way of the Cross on Thursday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. in the parish church. This prayerful experience is a beautiful opportunity for our community to reflect together on the significance of Lent.

As we prepare for Easter, may we continue guiding our children to live lives rooted in love, service, and hope. May the joy of the Risen Lord bring peace and blessings to your homes.

Prayer Requests:

  • Please keep members of our community who are ill in your prayers. May they feel God’s healing, comfort, and strength.
  • Our Grade 2 and Grade 7 students are preparing for the Sacraments of Reconciliation, Holy Communion, and Confirmation. Please keep them and their teachers in your prayers during this special time.
  • Lenten mite boxes supporting our Seminarians may be returned after Easter. Thank you for your continued prayers for vocations.
