Pre-School
The St. Edmund's Discovery Preschool is located at 324 West 5th Street (directly across the playground of the Elementary School). The preschool program has both morning and afternoon classes. Morning classes start at 9:00 am and finish at 11:30 am; afternoon classes start at 12:15 pm and end at 2:45 pm. The program on Tuesday and Thursday is mainly designated for three year olds, while the program for four-year old children is on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays. Parents can apply to receive a subsidy from the Ministry of Social Services for either of the programs.

Our goal is to help children understand the world around us, and to promote the increase of self-concepts, self esteem and friendship skills. The preschool program is designed to increase a child's "elementary school readiness."
Note: The St. Edmund's Discovery Preschool is a separate legal institution from St. Edmund's Elementary.
