Formal progress reports are given at the end of each term - fall, winter and spring. There are three main sections to these reports: 1) letter grades, 2) a checklist of curricular outcomes, and 3) anecdotal reports. The Primary grades (K – 3) do not receive letter grades, while grades 4 - 7 receive letter grades for most of their subjects.
Letter Grades – a summative grade of a student’s work for that term. Following is the BC Education Ministry description of what constitutes each level of achievement

Checklist – a list of curricular items that constitute important learning that has occurred over that term. For each outcome on the checklist, a student is judged to be ‘not yet within expectations’, ‘minimally meeting expectations’, ‘generally meeting expectations’, ‘fully meeting expectations’, or ‘exceeding expectations’.
Anecdotal reports – the comment boxes further discuss the student’s performance against the learning outcomes. They serve to give a verbal ‘snapshot’ with examples of student progress, elaborating on their strengths and areas for improvement.
Conferences - Twice a year (fall and winter), parent\student\teacher conferences are scheduled. On these days parents come to the school with their child and discuss the child's progress and concerns or questions parents may have regarding their child.
